Volunteer with us

Two shifts, one morning. Bring a friend, a neighbor, or the whole family.
Before you come

Common questions

Who can volunteer, and do I need any prior experience?

Anyone from 5 to 95. No experience needed — the jobs are simple, and we walk every table through what to do before the packing starts.

What will I be doing as a volunteer?

Every table is a small assembly line of 8–10 volunteers. Some measure the ingredients, some fill the bags, some check the weight and heat-seal them, and some log each finished case on the table’s chart. Rovers keep the baskets stocked and carry finished cases to the loading area. It’s a genuinely fun way to spend a morning.

Where and when do I need to arrive?

We’re at Special Olympics Florida — Palm Beach County, 2728 Lake Worth Road. Park on site, or in John Prince Park just to the east. Check in 30 minutes before your shift — 8:30 AM for the 9:00 shift, 10:30 AM for the 11:00 one — and plan on about 90 minutes at the table. Running late? Come anyway: we’ll put you on a packing table or find you another job.

What should I bring or wear?

Comfortable clothes and shoes; shorts are fine. Everything happens indoors in an air-conditioned gym. Gloves and hair nets are provided — just bring a water bottle if you can.

Can I volunteer with a group, family, company, or school?

Yes, and we’d love you to. Each table needs 8–10 volunteers, so a group fills one nicely. Company teams, church groups, clubs and school groups are all welcome, and matching logo shirts are always a good look. If you need community service hours signed off, we’re happy to do it.
